Welcome to Gay Travel Today! I’m Teraj and I’ll be your guide as we explore, engage and indulge in the world of LGBTQ+ travel today.
The cost of flights have been as irregular as the stock market this year and with good reason, due to uncertainity with air travel with the coronavirus. So when’s the best time to buy during this pandemic era if you absolutely have to fly? Many airlines are offering flexible booking policies and strongly encouraging customers to book refundable travel. Other airlines have waived their change fees, but travelers are still responsible for any fluctuations in ticket prices, which can totally negate the good deal you thought you were getting in the first place. If you’re going to buy, be sure to read the fine print and know exactly what you’re getting into. Experts say purchasing domestic flights last minute can be a good deal but don’t attempt that strategy with international flights that are being careful to really space out traveler seating. Have you taken a flight recently? Tell us about your experience using the #GayTravelToday and #Sagitravel hashtags.
