Welcome to Gay Travel Today! I’m Teraj and I’ll be your guide as we explore, engage and indulge in the world of LGBTQ+ travel today.

DC Black Pride has been held annually during the Memorial Day Weekend for the past 3 decades to celebrate the African-American lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. DC Black Pride, presented by the Center for Black Equity, which is is a coalition of Black Pride organizers formed to promote a multinational network of LGBT Prides and community-based organizations say the event will be rescheduled for 2021 and according to their official website that says the celebration will be even bigger than ever! Although the celebration has been postponed, and we could not travel and meet up in Washington, D.C. this year, that doesn’t mean your support for DC Black Pride also needs to be delayed. I encourage you to get involved with this great organization that positively affects the lives of men and women through celebrations of black pride around the globe by donating to their cause at BlackPride.org or get involved by signing up as a volunteer. Also be sure to like and follow them on Facebook at DCBLKPride. Have you attended a DC Black Pride event before?
