I want to take this time to personally commemorate all of those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country – especially those in the LGBTQ+ community who have faced a number of added obstacles, even recently in the past few years. Your bravery amazes us! This day is typically full of parades, performances and other festivities, but with COVID-19, many of these events have been cancelled including the PBS Memorial Day Concert Show that brings tens of thousands of people to the U.S. together to celebrate.
