Welcome to Gay Travel Today! I’m Teraj and I’ll be your guide as we explore, engage and indulge in the world of LGBTQ+ travel today.
European countries have begun opening their doors to visitors from other countries within Europe, but Americans are still going to have a difficult time traveling there. If you’re from the EU, the cards are in your favor. If Austria is on your travel docket, you should have no problems gaining entry if you’re an EU resident. If you’re from Great Britain, Sweden, Spain, or Portugal, you’ll be required to show a negative COVID-19 test result and self-isolate for 14 days, which may deter travel anyway. Everyone else outside of Europe will have challenges with a classic European vacation for now. These travel moves are baby steps for Europe and something to watch as Americans begin to slowly travel, domestically, within their own borders. What are your travel plans shaping up to look like or do you plan to pause all travel in 2020? Let us know how have you’ve been handling the recent travel restrictions by using the #GayTravelToday and #Sagitravel hashtags.
