Speaking of diversity, 58% of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s local population are POC, with 79% of its residents originally from Latin America. The area is also home to many cultural hotspots, like that in Wilton Manors, where there are gay-owned restaurants, boutiques, gourmet coffee shops, flea markets and museums.
